It has been about 4 years since we launched Wikitude.me to give our community a tool to generate places on the web while on their PCs to then view these POIs (Points of Interest) in Augmented Reality inside of the Wikitude World Browser.
Lots of things have changed since then. In the meantime we have introduced Wikitude myWorld allowing you to create your very own Augmented Reality World right on your mobile device or via the Wikitude myWorld Facebook page.
Wikitude myWorld has lots of additional features allowing you to share your personal AR World with your friends to mention only one of the functionalities.
To make a long story short, Wikitude.me has reached the end of its life cycle and will therefore be discontinued on February 18th.
We will continue to list the Wikitude.me World inside of Wikitude which will allow you to still view the places you have created in the past. Should you want to create new places and your very own AR world, we highly recommend using our Devzone or Wikitude myWorld.
